Terms of Use

1.1. These Terms of Use govern access to and use of Senta.lt, including public pages, accounts, professional profiles, search, reviews and other features made available through the platform.

1.2. By using Senta.lt functionality, you agree to comply with these Terms to the extent that they apply to your use. By creating an account, you confirm that you have read these Terms and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, do not use the Senta.lt functionality to which these Terms apply.

1.3. Senta.lt may introduce, change or remove platform functionality as the service develops, subject to applicable law and the provisions below concerning changes to these Terms.

1.4. Additional or special terms may apply to particular Senta.lt features introduced in the future. If these Terms conflict with special terms that expressly apply to a specific feature, the special terms prevail only in relation to that feature and only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

2.1. User means any person who accesses or uses Senta.lt.

2.2. Client means a User who searches for, compares or contacts a Professional regarding services.

2.3. Professional means an individual or legal entity that presents or offers services through Senta.lt for professional or commercial purposes, where the relevant functionality is available.

2.4. Content means information submitted or published through Senta.lt, including profile text, services, prices, photos, portfolio items, reviews and other materials.

2.5. Senta.lt Services means the technical and informational platform functionality provided by Senta.lt, including search, profile presentation, contact display, account and review features. Senta.lt Services do not include services that Professionals provide directly to Clients.

3.1. Senta.lt is an online platform that helps Clients discover Professionals and helps Professionals present information about their services. Senta.lt provides search, profile and contact functionality but does not perform the services shown in Professional profiles. To the extent applicable to the services provided by Senta.lt, Senta.lt operates as an intermediary and hosting service and an online platform within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 on a Single Market for Digital Services (the Digital Services Act, DSA).

3.2. Unless Senta.lt expressly states otherwise for a specific feature, any agreement concerning actual work or services is made directly between the Client and the Professional.

3.3. Senta.lt does not undertake to mediate or resolve disputes between a Client and a Professional concerning the Professional's services, except where required by applicable law or where Senta.lt expressly provides a separate procedure.

4.1. Some Senta.lt features require an account. Account registration is intended for persons who are at least 18 years old and capable of entering into legally binding arrangements under applicable law.

4.2. Users are responsible for the accuracy of their account information, for keeping it reasonably up to date and for protecting access credentials. A User must promptly contact Senta.lt if they reasonably suspect unauthorised access to their account.

4.3. A person managing an account on behalf of a company or other legal entity confirms that they have authority to act for that entity.

5.1. Clients choose Professionals independently. The presence of a profile on Senta.lt, its position in search results, reviews or other information shown on the platform does not constitute a recommendation, certification or guarantee by Senta.lt.

5.2. Before work begins, a Client should directly verify the information that is important for the specific service and agree the material conditions with the Professional.

6.1. Professionals are responsible for the services they present and for ensuring that profile information is truthful, current and not misleading. Senta.lt does not independently certify every statement made in a Professional profile.

6.2. A Professional acting through a company is responsible for ensuring that persons providing services on its behalf satisfy applicable legal and professional requirements.

6.3. Where a Professional acts as a business user and Regulation (EU) 2019/1150 applies to its relationship with Senta.lt, the Professional can access through its account the data it submitted to administer its profile and services, together with other data that Senta.lt expressly makes available to it through particular Platform features. Senta.lt does not provide separate access to non-public data of other Users or to aggregated data covering the Platform as a whole unless a particular feature expressly provides otherwise.

6.4. Senta.lt has technical access to data submitted or generated through the Platform to the extent necessary to provide, administer, moderate and secure the Platform and to comply with legal obligations. Disclosures to service providers and other recipients are described in the Privacy Policy. When an account or Professional profile is disabled, ordinary access to it ends; if restored within the applicable 90-day period, access may be restored, and after the recovery period the data is handled under the deletion rules in these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

7.1. Users retain ownership of their Content. By submitting Content to Senta.lt, the User grants Senta.lt a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to host, store, technically process, reproduce and display that Content to the extent necessary to operate Senta.lt, display the relevant profile or review, maintain platform functionality and protect the platform.

7.2. This permission does not transfer ownership of the Content to Senta.lt. The User remains responsible for the Content they submit and for having the rights and permissions necessary to publish it.

7.3. Senta.lt may format, resize, technically adapt or moderate Content where reasonably necessary for platform operation, security, presentation or compliance with these Terms and applicable law.

7.4. The Senta.lt software, interface design, database structure, name, logos and other platform elements created for or lawfully used by Senta.lt, excluding User Content, belong to the platform operator or relevant rights holders. These Terms do not grant Users a right to copy, reproduce or commercially exploit those elements except where permitted by law or expressly authorised by Senta.lt.

7.5. Senta.lt grants the User a limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the platform functionality in accordance with these Terms for personal or lawful professional purposes. Use of Senta.lt does not transfer to the User any ownership or other rights in Senta.lt software, trademarks, design, database or other protected platform elements.

7.6. Content that is unlawful or promotes unlawful activity is prohibited.

7.7. Materially false, deceptive or impersonating Content is prohibited.

7.8. Content that infringes intellectual property, privacy or other rights of third parties is prohibited.

7.9. Threatening, hateful, discriminatory or seriously abusive Content is prohibited.

7.10. Spam, malware, mass solicitation and irrelevant advertising are prohibited.

8.1. Senta.lt is currently free to use and does not charge Clients or Professionals for the basic functionality described in these Terms.

8.2. Prices displayed in Professional profiles are information provided by the Professional. Unless expressly stated otherwise, the final price is agreed directly between the Client and the Professional and may depend on the actual scope of work.

8.3. Senta.lt currently does not process payments for services performed by Professionals. If paid Senta.lt features are introduced in the future, the applicable price and any additional terms will be shown before the User purchases or activates them.

9.1. Any authorised registered User may currently submit a review where the platform makes this functionality available. Unless a review is expressly marked as verified, Senta.lt does not represent that it has independently verified that a transaction or service actually took place.

9.2. Reviews should reflect the reviewer's genuine experience or opinion and should be relevant to the Professional or service being reviewed.

9.3. Reviews are subject to moderation before publication. Senta.lt may refuse to publish, remove, hide or restrict a review if it breaches these Terms, applicable law or platform integrity requirements.

9.4. A User may have no more than one active review for the same Professional at a time. Where the relevant functionality is available, the User may edit or delete their review, and edited reviews may be submitted for moderation again.

9.5. If a User or Professional believes that a review breaches these Terms or applicable law, they may ask Senta.lt to review it. Senta.lt may request additional information or supporting material from the persons concerned and, after considering the circumstances, keep the review published, temporarily hide it or remove it.

10.1. Senta.lt search results are generated using the search context and platform ranking logic. The main factors may include relevance to the selected category, service and city, the User's filters and selected sorting method, profile completeness and quality signals, and how recently relevant profile information has been updated.

10.2. When a User selects a specific sorting option, results may also be ordered using factors such as experience, displayed price, rating or number of reviews, depending on the selected option and available data.

10.3. Paid placement does not currently affect the default ranking. If Senta.lt introduces paid visibility or promotion that can influence ranking, this will be clearly disclosed and these Terms will be updated where required.

10.4. Where Regulation (EU) 2019/1150 on promoting fairness and transparency for business users of online intermediation services applies to Senta.lt's relationship with a Professional acting as a business user, the description of ranking is intended to provide the transparency on the main ranking parameters required by that Regulation.

10.5. As a general rule, the greatest influence on a result's position comes from its relevance to the category, service and location selected by the User and from the User's chosen filters or sorting method. Profile completeness, quality and freshness signals are additional factors used to distinguish otherwise similar results. The relative weight of those parameters may vary according to the search context and the selected sorting method.

11.1. Users must use Senta.lt lawfully and in a way that does not interfere with the platform, deceive other Users or misuse information available through Senta.lt.

12.1. Senta.lt may take proportionate action where Content, a profile or account breaches these Terms, applicable law, platform integrity requirements or creates a material risk to Users or the platform.

12.2. Depending on the circumstances, Senta.lt may request corrections, limit visibility, remove Content, restrict functionality, suspend an account or terminate access. Serious fraud, security risks, unlawful Content or repeated violations may justify immediate action where permitted by law.

12.3. Where Senta.lt removes User Content, restricts its visibility or limits account functionality because of User-provided Content, Senta.lt will provide an explanation of the reasons in the cases and to the extent required by Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 and other applicable law.

12.4. Potentially illegal Content may be reported electronically to info@senta.lt. A notice should provide a sufficiently substantiated explanation of why the Content is alleged to be illegal, clearly identify its exact electronic location, for example by providing the relevant URL, and, where Article 16 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 applies, provide the notifier's name or entity name and email address, except where that Article provides an exception, together with a statement confirming the notifier's good-faith belief that the information and allegations in the notice are accurate and complete.

12.5. Senta.lt has no general obligation to proactively monitor all User Content in advance or actively search for indications of illegal activity. Senta.lt may nevertheless carry out voluntary moderation, use automated or manual measures and act on notices it receives. To the extent Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 applies, this provision is interpreted in light of the no-general-monitoring principle in Article 8 of that Regulation.

12.6. Where Article 16 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 applies and the notifier provides electronic contact details, Senta.lt will acknowledge receipt without undue delay and, after deciding on the reported Content, notify the notifier of the decision and the available redress possibilities.

12.7. Where a Professional acts as a business user and Regulation (EU) 2019/1150 applies, Senta.lt will provide a statement of reasons on a durable medium before or at the time a restriction or suspension of the online intermediation services takes effect. Where the whole of those services is terminated, at least 30 days advance notice with reasons will be provided, except in the cases in which that Regulation permits the notice period not to apply.

13.1. Senta.lt aims to provide a useful and reliable platform but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability, the absence of technical errors or that every User-submitted statement is complete and accurate.

13.2. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Senta.lt is not responsible for the performance of services agreed between Clients and Professionals or for losses arising solely from the acts, omissions, statements or agreements of Users.

13.3. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or mandatory User rights where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

13.4. Senta.lt may temporarily limit the availability of the whole platform or particular features for maintenance, updates, security measures, technical failures or other reasonable technical reasons. Where practicable, Senta.lt will seek to minimise the duration and impact of such disruption.

14.1. Senta.lt may update these Terms because of changes to Platform functionality, applicable law, security requirements or its operating model. Where applicable law requires advance notice of changes to a User or Professional, Senta.lt will communicate those changes on a durable medium, such as by email, and apply the notice period required by law. Where a Professional acts as a business user and Regulation (EU) 2019/1150 applies, proposed changes to these Terms will normally be notified at least 15 days before they take effect; a proportionately longer period will be used where significant technical or commercial adaptations are required. That period may be disapplied in the circumstances permitted by the Regulation, including a legal or regulatory obligation or an unforeseen and imminent need to address fraud, malware, spam, data breaches or other cybersecurity risks.

14.2. A User may stop using Senta.lt at any time and may deactivate their account through the functionality provided by the platform. After deactivation, the account and any public profile associated with it are disabled.

14.3. After account deactivation, Senta.lt keeps the account-related data for up to 90 days so the User can restore the account during that period. If the account is not restored within 90 days, the account-related data is permanently deleted through Senta.lt's deletion process, except for information that must or may be retained longer under applicable law, for security, fraud prevention, dispute handling or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

14.4. If a User removes only their Professional profile and returns to a regular Client account, the Professional profile is hidden from public search immediately. Related Professional data, including services, portfolio information, reviews and uploaded files, may be retained for up to 90 days so the profile can be restored during that period. After the 90-day restoration period, the Professional data and files are deleted through Senta.lt's deletion process, subject to lawful retention exceptions.

14.5. Sections that by their nature are intended to continue after account or profile deletion, including provisions concerning Content rights already exercised, responsibility, disputes and applicable law, remain effective to the extent necessary.

14.6. Senta.lt may decide to discontinue the whole platform or a particular feature. Where reasonably practicable or required by law, Users will be informed in advance of a material discontinuation. Discontinuation does not extinguish rights or obligations that arose beforehand and are intended by their nature to survive.

14.7. Senta.lt may send notices concerning an account, security, changes to these Terms or other important platform matters to the email address registered on the account or through another method available on the platform. The User is responsible for keeping their contact details up to date.

15.1. Personal data is processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR), other applicable data protection law and the Senta.lt Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy explains the categories of data processed, purposes, retention periods and User rights.

15.2. These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Lithuania, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections that apply to them under applicable law.

15.3. If a dispute concerns work or services provided by a Professional, the Client and Professional should address that dispute directly between themselves because Senta.lt is not a party to their service agreement.

15.4. Users and Professionals may submit questions or complaints concerning Senta.lt's operation, account or profile restrictions, technical issues or the application of these Terms by email to info@senta.lt. Senta.lt aims to review and respond to such complaints within a reasonable period, taking into account the nature and complexity of the matter. Submitting a complaint does not limit any other remedies available to the User or Professional under applicable law. Where applicable, consumers may also use the competent out-of-court consumer dispute resolution body. In Lithuania this may include the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority (VVTAT), A. Goštauto g. 12, 01108 Vilnius, Lithuania.

15.5. The Lithuanian, English and Russian versions of these Terms are intended to express the same rules. If there is a discrepancy that cannot reasonably be reconciled, the Lithuanian version prevails to the extent permitted by applicable law.

15.6. For the purposes of Articles 11 and 12 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065, where those provisions apply, Senta.lt's electronic contact point for competent authorities and recipients of the service is info@senta.lt. Communication through this contact point is accepted in Lithuanian, English and Russian.

15.7. If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, that does not by itself invalidate the remaining provisions. The remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
